Level 1 & 2 Food Safety Training

On completion of the level 2 Food Safety & HACCP Course participants will have acquired an intermediate level of food safety knowledge appropriate to the Food Safety Authority of Ireland level 2 training guidelines. The course provides food workers with the basic principles of food safety and covers the necessary skills required to practice HACCP effectively in the workplace.

  • Introduction to food safety & the law
  • Basic Microbiology
  • Food contamination
  • Pre Requisites (cleaning, personal hygiene, pest control. allergens)
  • Food delivery, storage, preparation, cooking, service
  • HACCP & monitoring of Critical Control Points
  • Course assessment

Training Programme Duration: 3.5 hours

Who should attend: All Food handlers, Chefs, Kitchen/ Deli Staff.

Certificates: Certificate will be awarded for the successful completion of the course assessment. Certification is valid for 2 years.

Fee: Price available per course- Up to 15 people or per person in public courses

Delivery: Available on-line or on site face to face training

Training is certified and delivered to The FSAI (Food Safety Authority of Ireland) training guidelines. Training is flexible and can take place at a time/place that is convenient for your business.
